The Lord loves effort

The Lord loves effort, and effort brings rewards.

— Russell M. Nelson

Turning toward something is itself an action. Desire — the willingness to face the sun — counts as movement even when nothing else moves yet. Some days we’re closer to the source and some days further; what matters is the turn.

After an experience, the next move is to reflect: what did that show me? What can I see now that I couldn’t before?
