Small acts

Jesus did small acts. Of the thirty-seven miracles recorded in the Gospels, thirty-one were for individuals — one person at a time. He was in the habit of the miraculous, one on one.

The implication, for the rest of us, is that the scale of an act is not its measure. Faithfulness shows up in particular kindnesses, not in scope.
